Young & Bertke Air Systems Co. began in 1920 as Young & Bertke Co., manufacturing industrial ovens and industrial washing and finishing machines as well as dust collection systems and specialty sheet metal fabrications. Eventually the company split in two, creating Young & Bertke Air Systems Co.

Our original building sat across from the Cincinnati Reds’ home at Crosley Field. In 1925, Youbert, our 18 ½ foot tall, 2,500 pound, size 60 shoe-wearing, walking mechanical man, took his place atop our building where he walked for more than 80 years. Young & Bertke even gave away Reds tickets to fans who correctly guessed how many miles Youbert walked during a game. During his lifetime, Youbert walked the equivalent of 14 trips around the world.

After 105 years of business, Young & Bertke Air Systems Co. is still designing and manufacturing the best dust collection and air pollution control systems for companies around the United States as well as Canada and Mexico. In April 2024, Anguil Industrial, LLC, proudly welcomed Young & Bertke Air Systems Company to our family. This acquisition, spearheaded by Chris Anguil, President, and Deborah Anguil, Chief Operating Officer of Anguil Environmental Systems, marks a significant expansion of our capabilities. By combining Anguil Environmental Systems’ global leadership in industrial pollution control with Young & Bertke’s distinguished mechanical contracting expertise, we’re enhancing our ability to provide comprehensive, integrated solutions to our clients, building upon decades of experience in both environmental systems and mechanical contracting.
